The founders behind The Bright Light has one common goal; Save lives with light. Therefore The Bright Light is involved in several non profit projects. Light for Life is one of them.

The project Light for Life was started by the non-profit organization "Våres Jul". It is a non-political, humanistic organization where all employees work voluntarily without pay. All funds collected go directly to specific projects. The aid organization "Våres Jul" has collected equipment from Norwegian hospitals and delivered it free of charge to Chongwe District Hospital in Zambia for many years.

Now they want to improve the conditions in the maternity wards in this area. More than half of the births today take place out in the savannahs in small maternity wards without good lighting.

Light for Life has now distributed 24 lamps accross Chongwe district.
